Tamara Hillman was born and raised in
a small, eastern Washington town, and though she moved to a more urban
area in her late twenties, her fondest memories remain of living in the
country, and of the hardworking, generous people in rural America.
She has written many articles for Country, Reminisce, Cowboy/ Western,
and Horse magazines.
She recites her poetry on country radio stations, and at 'Cowboy
Gatherings'.
A number of her poems have been published on cowboy
websites, and in special edition newspapers, and a few even made into
songs.
Now retired to Arizona, her goal is to continue writing short
stories, western novels, country/cowboy poetry, and general poetry,
(what she calls her "Long-Hair Stuff").
